This Ceramic Cloisonné tile “ How the Rabbit Stole the Otter’s Coat” from the “Multi-Cultural Myths” Series is based on a Native American Cherokee Myth. The rabbit tricks the otter into giving up his coat by making him think that hot coals are falling from the sky and thus he must jump into the lake to save himself, while the rabbit steals his letterman jacket.
