All Ms. Weinberg-Benson’s tea pots are based on the ceremonies that evolve around first experiences in our lives. This work is wheel thrown and joined together while still wet with slip decoration, high fire glazes, sandblasted and drawn on with pastels. A protective coating is then added. As we grow and explore the world around us two major milepost we concur are crossing the street for the first time and then crossing an ocean.
