This is a Knight Chess piece from the “Games People Play” Series. It was a public art exhibition at Nations Bank in Atlanta Georgia. The piece is wheel thrown porcelain assembled wet, glazed with a high fire porcelain glaze then sandblasted with pastel drawings. As in old Greek black ware the story unfolds as one walks around the piece. This work is about all the lies that people tell in their lies, “the fish was soo big, the check is in the mail and I’ll return your lawn mover tomorrow”.
