All Ms. Weinberg-Benson’s tea pots are based on the ceremonies that evolve around first experiences in our lives. This work is wheel thrown and joined together while still wet with slip decoration, high fire glazes, sandblasted and drawn on with pastels.  A protective coating is then added. This work tells the story of a young woman who earns her first dollar by delivering newspapers and then as she grows up earns her first million dollars proving that all our dreams are possible for men and women.
